Reggello has been called the City of Olive Oil for the excellent quality of its extra virgin olive oil and for the many producers, such as Mandri with over 3000 leccino, frantoio and moraiolo plants.
In Reggello, at the end of November of every year, the Festival of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil takes place, an excellent opportunity to taste and buy local olive oil and other local products such as wine, cheese and the classic Tuscan cold cuts: prosciutto, salami and the typical “Finocchiona Sbriciolona”. Feast of the Patron in Cascia, Reggello, from 20 to 30 June with the Festival of porcino mushroom, a truly gastronomic event not to be missed!
